Well, Dirty Howie showed us all up on this one. I sure feel like a douche with all the chips on my Z from the track.

Good job Howie.

I'd be too tired to drive after all that work.

We do love our cars!

Good job Howie.
Were you at Willow Tommy?

BTW, I've had pretty good luck with just clear bra at the track - no tape.

? What did he use, besides the painters tape I can see that. Is it a VERY poorly done 3M shield or what kind type of plastic wrap?

I believe he called it "shelf paper" of some type.

You don't need to put that stuff on:

BTW they all came off but it took a lot of elbow grease.

Depends on what hits you...

Same event and session that Howie was in... this is from one impact. Had it hit the body, it would have taken a chunk of paint with it!

Good job Howie.

Damn, almost makes it not worth tracking. I am willing to bet this picture is going to be around for a while.

while you may protect the paint, you are not going to protect the windshield...

Damn...that looks like a lot of work!

Try applying some WD40 to a soft cloth and that stuff should wipe right off. Works for me.

Looks like the car is peeling from a bad sunburn.
