Default zr1 factory spoiler

First time I have posted
Can anyone send me a picture of the factory spoiler. I ordered my Zr1 Wednesday the 17th of September and the salesmanager recommended I purchase the spoiler for 405.00. Any photos would be appreciated.
Thank you.

I'm assuming you were talking about the rear spoiler. But in the case that you were talking about the front spoiler here's a pic of that:

Hi Mike and welcome! I'm not ordering a ZR-1 so from what you have told me the spoiler is an option???? Every ZR-1 I've seen either in person or on this forum had the rear spoiler. Here are two forum links showing a car/spoiler:
http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show....php?t=2138126
http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show....php?t=2138989
Also there are many many pics of ZR-1's and the rear spoilers right where you posted, just open different posts of members showing off their car or one they photographed. What color did you order?
Congrats on one great future car you will have,

Chick

Default No Spoiler Option

All Spoilers Come With ZR1 Standard. Only Option is the Interior Packages or Exterior Colour. I Would try a Different Dealer.

Salesman unfortunately does not know his products.

The spoiler is standard. There is no optional spoiler.

Only factory code options are:
3ZR - Interior Package
Q6B - Chrome Wheels
R8C - Museum Delivery

I don't think it is a bogie. There was a post a few months ago about an optional full width spoiler. I can't remember where I found it but I could not find it on this forum. Probably after-market. Anyone else recall this?
I will suggest to poster that he ask the dealer.
Poster's father-in-law.

Default Zr1 rear spoiler

I don't think it is bogus either. when I ordered mine, the dealer gave me a detailed print out of the option number. I was told the standard spoiler was similar to the Z06. The code for the "limited personalization option, full-width spoiler kit", code 5V5, is $405.

This is the first I have heard of this. Does anybody have any more information on it?

I have actually seen this three times now, since first reading this post initially. I thought it was a misunderstanding as well, but now I am totally confused about this "Full Width Spoiler" option;

#1 "Chevrolet Corvette Trims MSRP Total Cost of Ownership
National Base Price $102,450
Optional Equipment None Hide Options

Corvette ZR1 Premium Equipment $10,000
Velocity Yellow $750
Full Width Spoiler (Dealer) $405
Atomic Orange $300
Jetstream Blue $750
Crystal Red $750
Custom Color and Trim Combinations $590
Standard Paint Type $0
Standard Paint Type $0
6.2 Liter Supercharged V8 SFI $0
6-Speed Manual Transmission $0
ZR1 Chrome Aluminum Wheels $2,000
Corvette Museum Delivery $490
AM/FM CD With DVD Navigation $1,750
Indoor Vehicle Cover (Dealer) $325
Pedal Covers (Dealer) $290
Outdoor Vehicle Cover (Dealer) $350

Total Price $102,450"

#2 "Exterior, Design, Paint & Finish Price
• Color Combination Override $590
• Full Width Spoiler $405
• Indoor Vehicle Cover $325
• Outdoor Vehicle Cover $350"

#3 "The short options list for the ZR1 is claimed to be as follows; Color Combination Override $590, Full Width Spoiler $405, indoor Vehicle Cover $325, Outdoor Vehicle Cover $350, Pedal Covers Automatic Transmission $265, Pedal Covers Manual Transmission $290, Corvette Museum Delivery $490, ZR1 Chrome Alloy Wheels $2,000"

Anybody know anything factual about this???

Not sure where this came from; but Crystal Red is NOT an option on the ZR1; nor is any spoiler. I would suspect that someone has included "dealer installed" options from the C6/Z06.

For those who don't want to believe a ZR1 owner about what options were/are available on the car, here is the GM order guide.

http://temp.corvetteforum.net/c5/ken...rder_guide.pdf

Check out pages 12 13 21 22 25 40 63 and any place else in the document, and you won't find a spoiler listed for the ZR1.
