Well I pulled the trigger: New C6 Owner
I pulled the trigger on the 05 Convertible so I am now part of the C6 club.
My last two Corvettes were C4s. So any helpful hints to a new C6 owner would be appreciated.

Safety Car
Congratulations!!!
If it's a manual, remember that if anyone besides you drives the car, remember to tell them to put it in reverse before they hit the off button.
Remember to read the manual, and know how to get out of the car in an emergency (pull levers on floor), and how to get in when the fob isn't available or battery dies (hide the key somewhere, or always have it with you).
Always keep the fob in your pants pocket, and not in a jacket or backpack that may get thrown in the trunk. If it does get thrown in the trunk, hopefully you hid the key somewhere on the car.
Enjoy!

Got an auto. Being tall and using it as a summer daily driver the manual isn't a lot of fun for me.
I was going to wait a year or two to buy a C6 but one became available that was in my price range. I took a bit of a powder on the C4 since I only bought it 2 months ago. But the move felt right.
Drove it several hours tonight and loved it. Much better drive than the C4 which honestly shocked me. When I go over crappy roads I don't feel like the car beat me up anymore. lol

Congrats and enjoy the car. You might read over this sticky in tech if you haven't already.

Good luck, I was all excited about a month ago when I bought my first Vette. After spending a month on this forum I'm freaked out by all the problems everyone seems to put up with. We'll wait & see, may be selling one soon, I won't put up with some of these problems, sorry.
