Default Handsfree in '05 with Navi

Is there anything on the market to integrate Bluetooth hands free to a stock navi head unit in a '05?

Been thinking about just changing out the head unit, but if there were something out there to integrate to it, that would be ideal.

Sell your stock headunit and get an aftermarket nav with integrated bluetooth. I have the Pioneer z120bt and it's AWESOME and does 20x what the factory unit does. Integrated bluetooth, XM and/or Sirius, HD radio, ipod, video, backup camera and a better navigation. Worth every penny imo.

To remove the OEM unit is not for the average "do it yourself". Plus the Pioneer unit costs $1,000. I believe the OP wants an easier and less expensive option.

With that being said, the OEM nav unit is a POS. It is the worst navigation unit I have ever used in my entire life. Another one of GM's cr*p they put in these cars.

That would be YOUR opinion.

I love my OEM nav unit. Some say there is a "learning curve" to it, but I had no problems with mine at all. Very easy to operate.

Of course it is "IMHO", but a recent poll shows that 85% of Corvette owners agree with me that the OEM unit is a POS. I am in the majority.

Got to the General Corvette tab and search the audio/electronics for Bluetooth. You will see a few options. CHeck this area:

The interface/presentation isint the greatest, but its a easy unit to operate. I bought the car for whats under the hood, if I wanted luxury inside and an awesome head unit I would have looked elsewhere.

Yup

For those with older vettes (like my '05) without bluetooth capabilities, you can choose from several options offered by CF member Ray Kawal (website.)

Does the x920bt need any other accessories for GPS or Bluetooth? Is everything built right in? I am liking the looks of that thing.
