Anyone have buzzing in doors fixed?
Has anyone had the buzzing in the doors due to the bass in the stereo fixed yet? What was the problem and is it something that can be fixed without taking to the dealer? Any help or suggestions is certainly appreciated!

Do you mean buzzing or rattling? If it's a rattling that kinda sounds like the window is off the track inside the door, you may want to check out this thread:

I had an '06 vert that had a buzzing/rattling sound...like that of a blown speaker...in the driver's side door. The dealer replaced the speaker under warranty and the buzzing/rattling went away.

Sounds like a buzzing by the left shoulder somewhere in the door. When pressure is placed against the door it stops. Sounds like some trim or something that vibrates against the door inside when playing the stereo loud.

the interior door panels are actually very easy to take off and put back on. I do my own audio work so I got to play with the panels.
Sounds like you have something loose on the inside, If money isn't an issue you can go down to best buy, pick up some dynamat, and do the inside of your doors.

Check and see if you can locate a loose nut somewhere in the vicinity of the steering wheel area to about the front of seatback.

It is normal for dealers to avoid tedious customer satisfaction work like eliminating excessive noise from trim pieces, by dismissing the problem as "normal". That is why it is in turn "normal" for consumers to continue to bash American cars, which is a pity for a suffering industry.

Yeah, mine is embarrassing...even when the radio is not loud you can hear it if something with any bass at all begins.
Even on talk radio if someone has a low voice it will sometimes buzz/vibrate.
What a shame this car is built like such a piece of junk...it's a good thing it performs so well or I would've traded it in a LLLOOONNNGGGG time ago. My Fiance's solstice was built like a champ compared to this vette.
