Default I'm Back on the Forum. New Car Pics

Back in April I thought these would be my last posts on the forum:

http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c6-c...-very-sad.html

http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c6-c...tle-beach.html

Still hard for me to look at. Well, nearly 3 months later and I'm almost back home again. New house will be ready 7/28 and a new toy arrived this past Saturday. Thought I'd share a few pics.

Thanks to my wonderful family and the most amazing friends anyone could ever hope to have, I've managed to make it through this horrible experience. I'm kinda out of the C6 club for the time being but who knows, maybe another one may come along sometime in the future. For now, I'm extremely happy with the new Camaro and am looking forward to many miles of smiles.

I appreciate all of the supportive posts everyone left on the last threads. It meant a lot to me. I've made friends for life through this forum and hope to stick around if you'll have a "lowly" Camaro owner around.

If anyone ever comes to the Myrtle Beach area, please look me up. Always fun to get together with car people.

Dan

Nice car! I rented a silver one two weeks ago. Pretty nice car.

Be carefull with the launches though. I'm hearing they have drivetrain issues.

So good to hear from you. Your new Camaro is very NICE! Sounds like things are looking up, thank goodness. Thanks for posting the pictures. I have only seen two of the new Camaros on the streets around where I live - they are still rare around here.

Congrats!!

We are looking at buying a Camaro next summer as our "family" car. The g6 is ok...but we miss having the trailblazer SS...and taking two vettes cross-country doesn't work for every trip!

Dan - so glad you are getting back to a norm! That car is awesome. I love the new Camaro's. They are HOT! Enjoy it, the new house and the new start. Keep the faith - if God brings you to it, He'll bring you through it.

This is a problem with the manual trans V8 cars only. Formuladan has an auto so he should not have to worry about the output shaft failing.

Great looking car!

When I first read that dreadful thread some months ago, and your subsequent posts, I thought that this was one of the top five inspiring stories I'd ever seen on CF. I still think so.

I'm glad you're back, on the way to a new house, with a new car that's about as close a relative to a Corvette as can be!!!!!

Take good care, always come back on here, and the best of luck to you.
