Default IPOD on a Navigation radio???

I recently purchased a 06 C6 paddle shift. The radio is a XM/navigation. I would like to hook up my IPOD to it. Is that possible?

I updated the link... If you want to watch movies you need a new/ different head unit. The factory/Nav radio doesn't play DVD movies...

Works as advertised... Just plug and play... The playlist/ text show on the Nav screen. You control it from the radio... Sound is much better than the FM transmitters I've used.

On their website they state it works with an iPod or iPhone... The Lock Pick cable/ connection is long enough that you can run it up to your glove box... Or in the case of the iPhone it could/ should reach a dash mount.

"CONNECT YOUR IPOD OR IPHONE TO YOUR CORVETTE OR XLR DISPLAY NAV RADIO"

What if I switched my XM box to Sirius? Would the lock pick still work the same?

Did this about a year and half ago, works great. My Ipod has been in my center console with no isses due to heat.

In this thread I described an install on a C6 vert, and how to run the wire to the center console without drilling holes.
http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show....php?t=1953865
I use a Scosche unit. It allows more control. I use my iPhone (pre-3G) all the time. When a call comes in the music is automatically silenced, then resumes when the call is over. I have had no power drain issues and my C6 sits un-used for a week or longer sometimes.
It works for me.

It plugs in between the radio and the XM box...As long as your are using the same plugs I think it should work?
