Yes. You can get Leather from Gerardo at www.dsvettes.com and laminated from Jersey at www.apsisusa.com (need to call to order). Both are fantastic products, quality, and customer service. The trick to removing it is finding the small slot in the back to remove the C-ring that holds it on. Once you find the little slot use a very small (eye glass ones work) flat-blade screwdriver to pull it out.

maybe a better question is can I replace the **** with a different style/design? I know I can get it recovered, just wondering if an alternate style is out there.

I haven't seen any. This question comes up periodically, no one has posted any alternatives.

Actually, the '05s (A4) use the same shift **** as all the C-5s. Several aftermarket ***** available.

Most vendors (Eckler's; Mid-America, etc.) sell the adapters to allow auto users to use any of the aftermarket ***** for the manual.

The 2005 has a number of choices available since it is a top-button ****. 2006 and later are screwed since the design is different.
