Default Time for new DIFF - DTE, RPM, or ECS?

With my new power i should have working on this winter my 02 6 spd car should be 450+ to the tires plus when needed i've got the HSW ring w/ 150hp max N20 in 2nd gear.
So after tons of research and questions to all 3 companies i'm leaning towards RPM Stage 2 diff w/ a 3.90 gear using my 3 rib core. But i can be pursuaded otherwise lol.

My question is, am i insane for going for the Stg 2 using the C6 ZO6 out put shafts? my car is a stick and i've got plenty of traction so i'm worried its not going to be strong enough but at the same time i know of several C5's that are using almost 100% stock diffs other than a strut brace like i've got and they've never break.

I can't afford to buy the Stg 3 w/ all 300m stuff and pininon support etc but i'd rather wait and save that to buy the Stg 2 and be out a bunch of money + still have to buy Stg 3 later lol.

With either diff will my stock axles be ok to use? i know the "driveshaft shop" makes others but i wasn't sure if needed any.......yet.

Thanks guys!

How many C6 Z06 guys do you see breaking stock axle stubs? At 450 HP your factory axles will be fine.

My DTE has been excellent. This is an expensive proposition, I would go with as many beefed up parts as you can afford.

I got a DTE stage 4/5 for sale. Buy mine and sell yours. If you plan on going any higher in power, I would stick with the 3.42 gear.

Drop me a PM, if you're interested.

I've got a DTE State 2 diff that included a few of the Stage 3 parts (at my request and at slightly higher cost) that has been great. The bite was much better than stock and I haven't had any problems whatsoever (I've got 424 rwhp).

Phil and company are all about top quality and continuous improvement. I've always had great experiences with DTE - people and products, and would recommend them without hesitation.

DTE learned from working with RPM, and ECS is just a middle man for both companies. Do yourself a favor and go to RPM. the customer service is far better than anything ive erxperienced. I run the stage 4 i think? z06 clutch packs, c6zr1 shaft (twisted the hardened aftermarket one) micro polished 4.10 gears and ect ect...

Rodney was awesome to work with. BE sure to get a DTE brace as well

Phil from DTE and Rodney from RPM are top-notch, you can't go wrong. I have a DTE diff and an RPM T56. They are both excellent.

post fact, not fiction.....ECS builds their own rears in house, and builds their own braces.
