Service traction system, ABS inactive, codes listed...
Hey guys,
Yor help is greatly appreciated... here is my other thread describing my problem...
http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show....php?t=1285751
Here are my codes that come up
10-PCM = P1571H
28-TCS = C1225H, this was posted in my thread
38-RTD = No Comm
40-BCM = no codes
60-IPC = B0521H, U1064H, U1040H, U1016H, U1176H... i think the problem is in here somewhere
80-Radio = U1016H
99-HVAC = no codes
AO-LDCM = U1064H
A1-RDCM = U1064H
A6-SCM = U1016H
BO-RFA = no codes
Please tell me I don't need a new EBCM.
Do these codes point out any specific grounds or connectors - or do they all need to be checked? Asking, cause I am going to end up having a Corvette specialist shop take a look at it - and they charge $100 an hour.
Thanks dudes and have a great weekend

Those codes are not current codes. they are all events that happened in the past but are OK now....
". Any code that ends in H is a history code (something that has occured in the past) but is fine now."
I suggest you delete them and see if any new codes get thrown.

None of your codes are current. Just clear them and wait to see if they come back.
If your ABS and Traction Control lights are solid and you cannot reset them, this may be in your future.

Any time you get that many history and NO COMMS codes, I would suspect that the battery is at suspect. Yea,,,I know, your thinking: "My car starts and runs fine!" Been there done that!
When you start your car, your starter draws very high current and when current goes high, battery voltage goes LOW!!! If your battery cant keep up with the voltage demands, voltage will drop low ("it may even go as low as 9 VDC for a very short period of time") while the current is high! Were talking milliseconds!
When the voltage drops lower than the low voltage threshold of those modules, the modules drop off line momentarily and you get history codes, no comms codes and those funky U series codes.
So,,,to keep from being too long winded, have your battery checked out at Auto Zone, Advance, NAPA ect and have them check to see if the your battery will maintain 12 VDC under load.
While the battery is out, clean those battery terminals!! Scrub the cable terminals with a wire brush, flush out the terminals with WD-40 and torque the terminals on the battery with a torque wrench to 11 ft/lbs
Before you hand your car over to the $100/hr thieves, get back to me and I will see if there are any other things that I can do for you.
Hope this helps
