Default C3 Emblem on C5

With inspiration from member Six862m6 and his post on another thread, I have added the C3 badges onto my C5.

And to those naysayers chompin' on the bit to trash my car, be my guest. I'm not trying to pass my car off as something it's not (I have plenty of other stickers for that!) This is just my tribute to the fantastic C3, a model I had wanted since I was a kid.

I've got a similar version of those cross flags with an impala & SS across the top of them on my 95 ImpSS. (Phone won't let me upload pics right now). Suprisingly, nobody has mistaken it for a C3 yet or accused me of "pretending" !!

Nice nod to a previous gen I think.

It looks alright but it wouldn't be something that I would put on there.

Yeah, unfortunately.

Would that I could. That's a permanent decal - to remove it is to destroy it. But it does add a bit of credibility not to be perfect.

meh! Not too keen on adding logos that don't belong. I don't like it. Just being honest. But hey, whatever floats your boat!

I own a C3 and C5 and I think it is very cool! I thing a Stringray emblem would be cool on a C5!

I always liked the style of the C3 emblems and owned a couple C3's but I wouldn't put them on a C5. Looks ok though.

Love both of them. Like many here, I am the age that grew up with the C3. Props to both of you. I just bought a TBSS and I am debating but an homage to Corvette on it somewhere.

Looks good s'noJob, they don't look bad in the cove area either. For those that didn't see the other thread, here are mine:

As far as actual generations are concerned, I'm a bigger fan of the C2s, but I like these particular set of flags better than the C2s.

Like the emblem. I might have put it in the same spot as the z
has its emblem.

Positioning the emblem in the cove was actually an afterthought. As the emblem is bent at an obtuse angle to match the nose of the C3, I couldn't straighten it enough to mount it on the fender as Six862m6 had.

I tried various places on the car and found it fit perfectly in the cove area, (as it is positioned on the C1 Corvette.)

So I have a C3 emblem on a C5 positioned like a C1. Oh well, I like it.

I think you should put more crooked stickers on the car. Can't have enough stickers and doo-dads stuck to the car.
