Sun Peaks BC show pics
I took in the BCC club show at Sun Peaks show on Saturday. 89 Corvettes showed up from Alberta to Seattle. Despite the heavy competition from the XXX Rootbeer Diner show in nearby Issaquah ( http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c5-g...of-vettes.html ), cars representing at least 3 different Seattle area clubs showed up!
Sun Peaks is a beautiful place to hold a show. Narrow winding streets on a mountain ski village means you get a different view around every corner.
I came late so I had to park with the C6's.
All Corvettes are red!
So the story I heard on these is that the owners were driving their C6Z's & stopped at a dealership to check out these ZR1s. They liked them so much that they bought them on the spot... from a new 26year old salesman! They transferred their bags over to the ZR1s and drove off!
Here's a cheap way to liven up your engine bay - rattle can accents! Nice subtle way of standing out from the crowd.
A little hard to see from the picture but all the bright flecks on the hood of this pewter (I think) C5 really pops. The angle is away from the sun but the hood still sparkles!

Hey Chilliwack, Thanks for coming and thanks for posting your great pictures. My hood made it in to your pictures - a genuine surprise! I was admiring your car and hoping to meet you. Next year, time permitting come early and stay for the Saturday dinner and socializing. I'll post a link to more club photos when they come available. Meantime pictures of my whole car at the event. If the shine is good it's thanks to Zaino. Forgive the elevated stance; I have serious obstacles on my daily commute, but I love my new seats.

I'm thinking of joining the BC club so we'll probably meet up soon. Don't know about next year as my plans are to go on the Caravan to NCM!
Your car & seats looked great! I've got a video just about done of the event so I'll post it when it's finished. You probably saw me taking the video... I recorded a 'fly-by' bent over!

Me & my 'baby' boy! I'm glad he's into cars - the older one isn't!

What a great place for a show and from the pics, a lot of beautiful Vettes showed up. Thanks for the pics.

I'll have to think about joining the caravan too; that would be some road trip! I know some club members are talking about going. I think a co-driver would be a requirement and a new radiator might be be a wise precaution.

It was a great show and the members of BC Corvettes did a fantastic job as always. The 90 degree heat helped with the beer consumption too.....
