Default Running headers w/no cats is too loud....please help!!

I'm running LG Pro Headers w/ Borla Stingers and no cats.
The car sounds awesome but is a little louder than I want and sometimes the drone is annoying.
If I add cats will that quiet it down a little or at least get rid of the drone?...I know I lose a little HP though.
Thanks for your advice

I would put the LG cats on, Will help a little, It's the Borla that is causing the problem.

It will quiet it down some but as long as you have the Borlas you will have some drone.

If my car had not had a new set of Corsa's on it when I bought it, I would probably give the Ti's a try. But, I can say that there is zero drone with the Corsa exhaust and Corsa X pipe. From what I've read on here if you want loud, Borla is one way to go but drone would drive me up the wall.

The Borla Stingers are loud without the headers and become obnoxious with them.
Z06 Tis would probably be a good choice.
Yes, cats will help some but Stingers are just loud.

But also do the mod to the mufflers. That should get you to a very nice sound when getting into it...

Just get a set of used Ti mufflers and add electric cutouts. Allows you to run quiet, loud and anything in between. Buying any aftermarket exhaust is a waste of money imho....

Don't mean to hijack your thread... but I just put Ti's on my 03 vert. Hopefully getting my Vararam installed next week. If I put longtube headers on her, how will the TI's sound?

In my opinion the cats won't help much at all. It's the Stingers that are the problem. The Ti's are quite, even with headers and hi flow cats. I'm told after the cam and heads it will get a bit louder. Now I have no drone and just a nice sound when I'm getting on it.

I just exchanged my stingers for TIs and like you I have a vert. and the drone was killing me It was even worse with the top up [once in a year] If you like quiet then you would like the TIs.

Guys - Thanks so much for you help. Looks like TI's will do the trick.
So now all I need to know is:
Where can I buy TI's?
Do I lose any HP going from Borla's to TI's?
Should I run without Cats?

i had bullets on and after I went to long tube without cats i couldnt take it either. TIs gave the perfect sound. I even painted the entire interior under the carpet with sound deadening material.
