Stingers to Ti's.
Mods that pertain to this post are:
Lt's, no cats, x-pipe, and a MS3 cam.
Well after long debate I decided to change my Stingers out for Ti's. I was lucky enough to find a local member(mxn corvettes) that was looking for Stingers for his Z06. We made a deal and he made the long drive down to Fallbrook for the swap. After a couple of hours in the garage and a few changes of underwear we got the Ti's off and the Stingers on to his Z. I forgot how good Stingers sound on a stock car.
Today I took my car on base(drove it about 9miles with no exhaust on) and put it on a lift and had the Ti's bolted on is less than 20min. I was very suprised how quiet the car is now. You cant even hear the car inside while driving unless you get on it. There is little if any drone at 1500rpms. The sound at WOT is ok, I think I will be looking into the by-pass mod or a set of cutouts. Its just alittle tame for my taste. All in all I am happy with the Ti's. The car doesnt bring as much attention with the Ti's as it did with the Stingers. If my car was still somewhat stock I would have kept the Stingers on the car.
STINGERS I forgot to turn it off at the end.
Ti's with dirty tips.

Stingers are nice, but I can imagine they do get loud at times. The Ti's are a nice change of pace and will really quite down the car.

Marine, its Mxnvette
Hhhmmm the ti's sound pretty good on the yellow beast still aggressive. now all you need is the cutouts so you can have aggressive and monster all with a switch of a button.
As for the stingers, they sound Realllllly good, like I told 0331 marine. Even my Fiancee likes them, only one problem she now wants to learn how to drive myz06,,,, I told her "one of these days" I would teach her. Lol
Thanks again 0331marine

I did the same my corsa's sounded nice at stock, now no cats/LT's and I switched back to ti's. Im wanting to do the ti' mod also as I've heard it'll still be same tone at idle/cruising but louder at WOT.

Man , I must be gettin' old, because I think the Ti's sound awesome! I don't think they're too tame at all. I'm sure they're much different than Stingers, though.

It's just such a drastic change. It will take me a few weeks. It is nice being able to hear the radio now......

I recently did the Stinger to Ti switch too. I've got LTs and cats without a cam and thought that the car was just too loud for every day commuting. Switching to the Ti's was disappointing. The car sounded quiet like stock. I recently got mine modded with the 1.5" bypass. Still a little quiet for the most part, but when you do get on it it gives off an exotic roar.
The thing that surprised me was the sound of it between being in the car versus being outside the car. It is louder to those around me than I originally thought - and that for me is not a bad thing.

Not sure if your running headers or not. I had the BB Bullets and I couldn't hear the radio But every cop in town heard me. So I swapped ti Ti's also. I too thought they were to tame. I added LT headers and X-pipe w/high performance cats. Now she sounds sweet.................

Why not just get some cut out and control the volume of your car at a touch of a button without having to spend crazy money on an exhaust? TI's are just way to tame and look bland. Get some different tips and some cutouts and you will be happy again. Loud/quiet when you want.
