Default Good Deal on this 1991 ZR1?

I have a friend that is wanting a C6, but I am trying to convince him this may be a better deal.

The price is very right for a 91 with those miles.
Much needs to be checked to be sure, but this would not be the first time such a car landed at a dealership that just does not know how to detail, market, and sell such a car.
I see what the car fax states, but as I look at that front bumper and hood line something seems amiss on the passenger side, and the paint match seems off between the two as well.
I would want to look at it more closely, but with their asking price, the drive away price could ensure enough left to handle any modest maintenance or minor repair, and still have a nice early production, low mile 91!
Best wishes for your friend!

Nice looking car. Low miles.

Big issue are the wheels, they are cheap reproduction and wrong offset in the rear. These are $400 wheels and likely cheap tires too.

There are a number of Texas Z owners that might be able to help with an inspection if interested.

Its a fair price. C6's and Zr-1's are two completely different cars, they are not really comparable. One's a driver, the other, special.

Agreed..... not to mention the rears aren't even the right width, too skinny. Looks like 9.5" all the way around.

Excellent price but the paint tells me the cars got issues and the wheels almost kill it but it is worth taking a look.Regardless this isn't the last weve seen of this car, somebody will buy it and come along asking about the car.

The one tire shown has age cracking, assume you will need new tires..
