Need C.A.R.B. EO# help....
I have an Edelbrock High-Flo 3860 intake baseplate. Everyone who sells it says that it is "50 state legal", but I can't find the actual California EO#. Anyone know what this number is?

I'm about to install one also. I searched the California Air Resource Board and the 3860 is not listed, but SLP runners are. But it could be that it is advertised as a replacement manifold. Here is an excerpt from the CARB website:
Intake Manifolds
The manufacturer of replacement manifolds determines which of their models are considered replacements for original equipment. These replacement manifolds are then listed by vehicle year, make, model and engine size in the manufacturer's catalogue.
Replacement manifolds may be made of a different material than the original part, for example polished aluminum instead of cast iron, but the design of the casting must be the same. Any manifold not listed as replacement part by its manufacturer must have an Executive Order to be legal for street use.
Maybe someone has more info.

This is very helpful. I'm going to call Edelbrock and see if they can give me anything. I'll forward you a copy of whatever I can find.
Many thanks!

Corvette40, you were right on the money. I just spoke with Edelbrock.
They confirmed that it is considered a replacement part and thus exempt from needing an EO#. They emailed me the doc to verify this (it lists all Edelbrock intakes that are covered) if questioned on a CA emissions test.
If anyone would like a copy, PM me with your email address and I will forward it to you.

Any aftermarket item thats CARB approved comes with a sticker to be displayed near the item.
I have an under hood spot that collects these in case the MAN needs info quick.
Contact the mfgr for copies.
