Resize your pics about 1/10 the size before posting!
Not nice for anyone still on dialup.

The hood latch mod is the first mod any C4 owner should do to their Vette. Just ask those that have never done it. (Like me). I'm gonna get to it ....... Soon .........

Although I am not on dial-up, I know several still are.
If you live in a rural area, dial-up or satellite is sometimes your only option.

That 1600x1200 picture you posted is bigger than a 22" monitor.
Even though the forum software will resize it for viewing, your browser still has to download the whole thing.
1024x768 or 800x600 would load much faster and still be big enough for everyone to see clearly.

Thanks for the pic. I'll be doing that tomorrow. Either play with the Vette and have the girlfriend mow 4 acres or mow it myself. Yep, I've gotta get that done before mine breaks. Thanks for the day off.

Gerardvg, thanks for bringing this up again. It's been discussed countless times and I STILL have not done it to mine. Looks like you just twisted your ends to secure them. That works. I was cleaning the garage yesterday (a week-long task at least) and found some 1/8 inch braided cable ferrules so all I need is the cable itself.

Maybe this time I'll actually go and do it - or I COULD wait till it fails and then kick myself in the pants for putting it off again!

Thanks and I believe you're correct - even a cave man can do it

painting the cable black helps hide it more than the bare cable itself.
