The C4 stripped and with the alarm going off was from The Super, starring Joe Pesci, not danny Devito.

Animal House, Otter (Tim Matheson) has an early 60's vert, shown many times.

Re: astronauts and their vettes in many movies, in Gordon Cooper's autobiography he says that GM sold vettes to the early astronauts for 1/2 price. That explains why they all drove them.

The Gumball Rally (my favorite movie ever) there is a modded white C3 vert that gets wrecked right near the beginning of the movie. Breaks in half after driving over a ramp/hole.

That's all I got off the top of my head.

I may be showing my age but I like the Vette in Death Race 2000. If you have not seen this movie lately it's hilarious. Sly Stallone and a bunch of other "before they were famous" types. True silliness.

Also, nice red Vette on commercial with Dale E. Jr. chasing down a Lear Jet to return GF's lipstick. Turns out it wasn’t hers.

This movie was just on SPEED a couple of weeks ago. David Caridine was the main star. Also, It was a teenage girl and her boygriend that drives the vette in the movie. Car belonged to the girl's Dad and she hoped he wouldn't be too mad that they had taken it.

"The Wraith" with Charlie Sheen. 74 vette with a twin turbo hood, angled louvers covering the flat back window, an 82 front end and an 84 rear. Blows up in the end (Thank god).
