Mine are fairly loud for sure and the hotter they get the louder-but mine are only one chamber per side total of 2 not four. Might should have gotten 4 --some say they are not as loud.

They are LOUD!!!! The first time I started it with them on I jumped (and watching my girlfriend jump as well was worth the money to watch) and thought that I had left a pipe off. It is a bit of a farce to think there is that much difference between them and straight pipes. They sound good, but could get old quick. I blew the motor in mine before I could drive with them much, but they were loud and depending on where you live maybe illegal.

I have had MAD under car chambered pipes for about 6 years. I love them!

Either I am really going deaf in my old age, or I just have gotten used to the sound. My 66 year old wife does not complain, but maybe she is going deaf also.

I have the chambered exhaust on my 73 have had it for 7 years and to me it hasn't gotten any louder than the day I put it on. I saw a t-shirt when I was at the Auto Fair it said if it's too loud your too old!!!

I installed the Allens Chambered II system a couple weeks ago on my 72 sb, 4 spd. Now it sounds like the sidepipe vettes. At WOT it really barks. I would highly reccomend. Give Mike a call, he's great to work with. The system was also on sale.
