Default Chambered exhaust

Anyone have an undercar chambered exhaust? Likes , dislikes? Looking for a bolt on exhaust for my 72 454/400 stock vette that has a powerful sound to it.

I have the MAD Chambered system on my 74 w/350. Its pretty damn loud but I always get compliments (except from my direct neighbor).
At idle, it has a nice rumble. At cruise speed I can still hear the stock radio or have a conversation (you do have to speak louder than stock exhaust).
At WOT all hell breaks loose and small children run for cover.
All that said, I love mine...

A buddy of mine put those on his 69 small block. I like loud but they are obnoxious loud. They are louder than the sidepipes on my midyear. On a big block they would be beyond too loud in my opinion. His 69 small block is much louder than my 68 big block. I had my 68 exhaust custom bent by a talented local shop and used Dynomax mufflers. The big block sounds great but not crazy loud like the chambered would be.

Just removed my side exhaust and put the Corvette Central chambered exhaust on my 76 SBC. I was tired of being deafened in my left ear by the side exhaust. The chambered exhaust are not too loud to me, plus it's out the back. Rumbles good at idle, but when you step on it, you get a real nice sound, kind of like going back in time to the 60's!

I forgot to mention that it is a bolt on to stock exhaust.

I have MAD pipes. They require exhaust work if you have headers. The fitment is bad. I wish I had bought chambered sections from classic chambered (as they were cheaper, the come in different lengths, and in addition, the inside diameter along the chambered sections are the same diameter outside where the exhaust pipes meet) and had them welded in. The MAD pipes sound okay but a little tinny due to the gauge steel they use. I do not have any mufflers on my vehicle.

I love the sound of my chambered pipes so much that I seldom
use my radio/cd-player any more.
The V8 sound is music to my ears.

Allens Chambered II with 4 mufflers here. An undercar exhaust with the old OEM sidepipe sound. Powerfull, but not obnoxious at all. Not all brands have the same inner baffles so some systems will be louder than others.

I had a set on my 64 and a set on my 70 454. In my opinion, they sounded great! Yes, a little louder, but not too loud. They were just right for me.

Allen's 4 chamber here and I don't like it. Too loud for my taste and it resonates at higher speeds. Also, the first chamber also hangs low and reduces your ground clearance. Been on for a year and looking for a replacement system already. Prefer to have something with a mellower sound.

I have chambered on my 77. Too loud for me. If you get them make sure you have a crossover tube. The resonance on mine when cruising drives me batty. It actually sounds good at idle, but not mellow enough after that.

Chambered exhaust on my 71 Ls-5 is great. I love the sound and now feel NO need for any Music other than the V-8 rumble.

Just installed the Allens Chambered II system on my 72 smallblock. Very nice sound. Much better than the Flowmasters I had. Idles like sidepipes, wot - sounds great.

I have the Allen's Loud mufflers on my 72 LS-5. Very sweet especially when the back window is out.

It sounds like the Chevrolet off-road exhaust system and factory side pipes all rolled into one.

I have not noticed any drone and I really like them. They are very loud however. I used to have a set of MAD chambered on a C5 which I liked really well but I like these better because it makes the car sound like a race car.

Plus, you can't beat the price from Allen's. I got mine for $170 shipped for the pair.

These are direct muffler replacements so you can't tell they're not factory. (Well, somebody probably can but I can't).
