Mounting Amps
#2
Melting Slicks
When I updated the stereo in my 09 Z06, we pulled the carpet up and siliconed down a piece of 3/4" particle board which is what the amps and crossover was screwed into. This way we didn't need to drill a single hole into the floorboard and it was also completely reversible without any holes. If I were to install amps in my C7 or any other Vette, I'd do the same thing again.
Here is a link to my audio install on my Z. While it doesn't show the actual board installed, it will give you some ideas as I was pretty thorough in covering my install.
