Syracuse NY C1 repair shops?
Might be moving to Syracuse with my ‘62 Fuelie.
Are there any repair shops you trust to work on your C1? Looking primarily for shops that do engine and other mechanical work.
Can you get non-ethanol gas in the area?
TIA.
PS: posted this on NE regional forum initially but received no replies.

I can't speak to any repair shops around Syracuse, but non ethanol gas is easily purchased. 90 octane non ethanol is common and can be found at many regular gas stations. Lot of boaters and water in the area, and local racers too.
Oh, and you're going to like the price per gallon, coming from CA!

What does a gallon of non-ethanol cost in NY?

Around 4.50 right now. Gas is up about $0.30 the past few weeks.

You might want to reach out to the Syracuse Corvette Club for recommendations. It's a large club that's been around for about 50 years, they put on a very nice show every year, Vettes at the Beach. If there's a reliable shop in the area someone in the club would know.

The only shop in that area I ever knew of was one about a half hour from Syracuse in Sherrill run by a former Corvette racer, but it closed years ago when the owner passed away. Jim Glass Corvette is about 3 hours away in Kingston NY. While it is a bit of a trip, they do repair and restoration work for Corvette owners from all over upstate NY.

There used to be one in Brentwood , but it closed last year, They do sell it by the 5 gallon can .
There was a station in Sunol just off of 680 that had a pump . I don't know if it's still there.
