'69-'73 Corvette Coupe
Color doesn't matter as long as it's not yellow, engine doesn't matter I'll be fine with a 327, 350, 454, etc
I am fine with either auto or manual transmission, and I don't care about numbers matching either.
Biggest things I am looking for are a (for the most part) a solid rust free birdcage and frame and a good body with good paint (I don't mind little chips or cracks in the finish), this would be my first C3. I am currently located in North Carolina and my budget is 22k which may be a tight budget, thanks in advance!

Hello. Budget might not be enough but you are making a very wise decision. NEVER buy a C3 that needs paint or has issues with the birdcage, rust in kick panels or around the body mounts. Very expensive to repair if you can even find someone to do the job. Mechanical stuff is much easier. I am located in Greensboro NC. I have a 1972 that has near perfect paint. Birdcage and frame are spectacular. 350 engine with four speed. This car is near perfect. Very low mileage. A collector car. I would never sell for less than 30g. Just to give you an idea of prices. Good luck with your purchase.

My .02 is to stick to trying to find a '73 since that is in your window of targeted years. I picked up my '73 454 4-speed with pretty decent paint and good birdcage for 22k and would say I overpaid for it at the time (3 years ago I think?), but it was local and I was itching to get one so paid the premium. You get half the chrome bumpers but you save yourself a big chunk of change!

I have a 73 Corvette with a 383 stroker blueprint 450 hp and only has like 1500 miles on the new engine. It’s in very good condition. Automatic.. It’s not absolutely perfect car but it’s a great car run great very fast. It’s going up for auction in mecum Tulsa but if it doesn’t sell, I guess if you want you can take a gander at it. 👍🏼

I have a 70 coupe original red red car 4speed 350hp nom that I would consider 22 for. Been in arizona since the 80s rust free paint is nice has some chips, etc nothing crazy. Been off the road for awhile so does need some sorting out before driving but its a nice car. Let me know if you have any interest and ill send you some pictures of it.
