For Sale: EM Long-tube Headers w/Catted Extension Pipes
I bought these from a member a few years ago and had them installed when I lived in VA. I put less than 1,000 miles on them since I used another car as my daily driver. Now that I've moved to CA, these won't pass emissions anymore.
I bought them for the slight boost in power, but more importantly, cutting down under-hood heat and reducing temperature coming through the tunnel. I have to say there was a noticeable difference, and I was very happy with the heat compared to the stock setup.
The car has been sitting for a while (never driven in Winter when I was in VA), so there is surface rust. The original seller had them recoated with black ceramic coating both inside and out. I've included pictures showing that, and I believe the new coating is much more robust. He also had ball flanges ($230) welded onto the connecting portions for better fitment and ease of installation compared to the normal setup. In other words, other than being shiny, these are better than new in terms of ceramic coating longevity as well as for installation purposes.
According to the Exotic Muscle website http://emracingcorp.com/scripts/prod...&sortField=sku, the headers go for $771 and the catted extension pipes go for $549, totaling $1320 not including shipping. I would be willing to letting these go for $970. I am located in Irvine, CA if you want to come pick these up locally. I believe shipping will cost upwards of $200, however I will only charge an extra $150 for shipping.
Price Drop: 850 shipped, 700 local pickup.
Here are some pictures I just took today while taking them to storage. You can see the coating on the inside is in great shape in solid black. Outside has minor surface rust.
Cheers. My inbox gets full fast, so please contact me via email at william.b.chou (at) gmail (dot) com.
TLDR; here's a short video of what I have for sale:
