Default Fuel pressure regulator

Just want to verify that the vacuum barb that is on the top of the fuel pressure regulator from the A&A dual pump kit, is left open and no vacuum line goes to it?

Andy, I installed one of your kits on my 2017 GS, I have been having issues with the car bucking, like it loses boost for an instant around maybe 4000 rpm. Could it be my belt might be slipping? It's been to the tuner 4 times, we installed a DSX LT1 to LT4 Maf sensor but the problems persists. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Give us a call to discuss. 805-278-4107
Probably not belt slip since the C7 kit is a dedicated 8-rib belt. If I'm guessing I'd want to see if the throttle is closing because of tune settings. That's more common on C7's. Thx, Josh

Default Stock C6 hood with F1X on A&A braket ?

Hi,

Just finishing Iron block/F1X/A&A bracket on my C6 and think stock hood will not able to be close

Does it fit ?
Any advice/option ?

(I saw somebody had to lower cradle 0.2" and removed hood insulation to gave JUST enough room for a F1R on his C6 with a&a braket... so... As the F1X was 0.75" bigger volute diamètre, i need to shim 0.575" the cradle ???

If yes, Iron heavyest block will put down a little the car, but does drivibility will be ok with cradle 0.575" down ?

Have you thought about letting it peak out the hood?? The F1X is a big unit.

So either lower the cradle or run shorter engine mounts. This is assuming you are not trying to run a filter & tube on the inlet of headunit. I'm guessing you have a turbo guard screen on it.

Have pfadt engine mount, difficult to short i think

But i plan use tube and filter (have bought then but not installed yet as i havent install radiators for now)

Why tube will be an issue ? Hit the hood also ?
(Aluminium tube should probably be bent)

Just the fact that if you lower the cradle or engine, that will also lower the headunit behind the radiator and make it more difficult to install an inlet on blower.

Thanks, it's so simple i forgotten this,
I think i can solve this by modeling the tube (cut, make a special part around the radiators and pop it on the tube as i cannot weld it)
Also, i have a dewitt radiator who is a little lower than stock if i remember
