Default Corvette C7 Convertible - top not working / trouble shooting

Hi fellow Corvette enthusiasts!

I have a huge problem, my soft top won’t go down or up, and when the sun is shining that’s not fun.

I’ve been trying to trouble shoot it, I have original MDI 2 and GDS/SPS.

after reading the trouble shooting diagrams, I have narrowed it down to 1 sensor called “B250 Folding Top Tension Bow Up Position Sensor”

through the diagrams it has a yellow supply wire running into it and two exiting wires that are white/grey.

but I have looked everywhere, but can’t find that damn sensor.

in the diagram it shows up as a connector, that I have found through the trunk. But it’s just a connector.

anyone knows where that sensor is in the top? Also I can’t find a parts number for it (ofc I will find that when I have the sensor in hand)

thanks a lot - attached some information from ACC.

and yes, if we had a GM dealership, I’d put it there. But we don’t - I’m from Denmark, so I have to fix the problems my self 🙏🏼😀

Sensor in the trunk. Yellow is supply. White/grey is from the sensor I’m loooking for. Brown/yellow is from another sensor - but that one checks out OK

From where in the trunk the connector is

One picture for looking around

Schematic of the sensor

Where the diagram says the connector is, correct found it. But not an sensor there

I have a 2014 service manual as my reference. But no pictures. The sensor is a hall effect type ( magnetic. ). The bow up sensor is said to be located on the left center of the convertible frame attached to the hydraulic cylinder and the down sensor is on the other end of the cylinder.

thanks - but can you see the parts number on that Hall effect sensor? Can’t find it anywhere. Even a new cylinder from GM isn’t delivered with it 😵‍💫

I do not have a parts manual to give you the number. However, If you can locate the part perhaps you can see if it is loose or something simple. It is a switch with wires and a magnet.
