My local dealer is probably in this volume range, and they got an allocation for an E-Ray. I saw posted somewhere that there was speculation that GM may be trying to make sure geographically that they're spreading them out across the US. I think that could likely be the case.

The answer is yes most likely that those dealerships that want an ERay allocation will "eventually" get one the issue is so far the ramp up for ERay has been pretty slow so 2024 most likely will be low volume MY with 2025 GM ramping up.

During the first six order cycles, GM sprinkled some Z06s around smaller dealers, even ones that probably sold no more than 10 corvettes per year. In a few months I expect e-ray production to start ramping up more, just as the Z06 did, and they'll show up in greater numbers at smaller dealers too.

After about 2 more order cycles we will be looking at 2025’s! With no ERay allocations this order cycle and if 2024 production ends as normal the 2024 ERay will probably be less than 500 cars. That I believe is worse or less than the 2023 Z06!

I know! I have a terrible habit of wanting to know "why?" Is it a supply issue of the electric motor? the drive battery? figuring out how to put an Eray together on the line without slowing down every car behind it? I know that Stingrays are starting to pile up at dealers but that doesn't immediately impact GM's bottom line so maybe turning the crank on SR and Z06 is the most profitable strategy at the moment.

Finally, if I'm going to lose my MY price protection at MM because of short production, I BETTER get some cool upgrade goodies with a '25 and the all but certain price bump.

It will be interesting to hear what the Corvette Leadership Team has to say at the annual Museum Bash about this painfully slow rollout and why delayed from last fall. They will surely be asked.

They are probably well informed on what they can say for sure, what they can touch on, and what they cannot say!!!

ERay waiting list on MacMulkin's site doesn't seem to be working for me. But based on above I probably only moved up one.

That webpage ERay wait list has been down for several hours today so I have not been able to check my position either.

GM appears hell-bent to make E-Rays so scarce as to enable dealer ADMs.

Nope. Too much money spent on hyping it up to be intentionally strangling production. It has to be a unique component to Eray. My guess is the small battery. Chevy learned all to painfully from the Bolt that tiniest manufacturing defects in batteries can make for catastrophic outcomes both in the physical sense and that in public relations.
