Results: I went to a private shop affiliated with the Corvette club. They tested everything. They found a bad hugely clogged Orifice tube and bad pressure valve. They found no leaks, but found it was overcharged some. They showed me the Orifice tube, it looked like it was caked with mud. The compressor is not cycling anymore and it's working great. Total was right around $400. I appreciate all your comments.

Awesome, cheap enough for some cold air, at least in these parts, clear top gets hot

Note to everyone else, a new drier and new orifice tube are pretty cheap, a vacuums pump is 15$ if you have an air compressor. A set of gauges and a can tap, a uv light is most of all you need to keep an ac running pretty good. I charge by weight, estimated weight really but it dosnt have to be perfect. I always vac down before adding Freon so I can somewhat estimate the volume. For my personal car I’ll start with a drier and tube first time.

$400 is really cheap for diag, repair, and refill refrigerant.
