Default VIDEO: Is the C8 Z06 Eventuri Intake worth it?

I’ve been wanting more power, more downforce, and even better handling! It's finally time to install and test out my Eventuri air intake, MSS Springs, and new Z07R Front Splitter. I've been looking forward to getting these items installed so I can road course test them and drag strip test them. Let's see what gains are made, this should be a fun next set of videos!!

Competition Carbon did the design by 3D scanning my car, then I did the street and track testing.

Yes I have a Z and I don't waste money like you do, but feel free too. My stock car will run almost exactly the same time your car will with all of those part, but keep trying to be a salesman.

Can you provide your personal best lap times at the tracks you’ve run and also your PB in the 1/8 mi and 1/4 mi?

hahaha, why? That does not even support my original post. I'm stating you can try to sell your videos and all these part you buy to change your car as some HUGE improvement all you want. I'm here to state putting on all this stuff does hardly anything other than gaining very minimal improvements, but keep at it man. In the end you do you and I will be here to state the obvious.

This is almost impossible to show due to the factors and I’m sure even if anyone did this it’s either zero and they will somehow try to make it seem like some great improvement to justify the money they spent…lol

Great video. Thanks for posting. Will you be selling your stock front splitter? If so, can you PM me?

I don't think intakes alone have ever been worth it other than for a bit of an aesthetic improvement. Especially on an un-tuned high strung na engine. Its always been a snake oil thing. That said i think they look pretty cool.

You realize he’s like, an actual race car driver right? Those minimal improvements you're talking about make a bigger impact when you actually track/race your car enough that you have it down to a consistent science, to where any little improvement will get you a personal best lap time or record. You said your stock car would run the same times as his in your first post, he asked for your times to compare, then you said providing lap times doesn’t support your original post? Thats just confusing lol

I wouldn’t say they don’t do “anything”. It’s more like ever since the C8 and tax that came along with it, the juice isn’t worth the squeeze as much as it was in the past.

The mods that Jesse has installed have been already proven at our track against a stock C8 Z06. .....10.35 modded 10.79 bonestock and there was a 3 mph difference in trap speed. Definitely an indication of more horsepower. Also the modded Z06 was running on OEM tires. There is a link just pull up REARWHEELDRIVE
