Anyone seen this? Interior wont shut off (partially) 2023
Went for a ride this evening, came home and parked. Just went out (hour later) to the garage and saw this. Tried lock/unlock, started/shutdown, and so on. No matter what these all stay illuminated. Do not recall ever seeing this before.
Disconnected the negative battery cable and went out to have a cigar. Not in the mood to dig into this tonight.

Did not deal with it last night after I unhooked the battery. This AM I hooked it back up and car is "back to normal" this AM. Did a few start/stop and so far so good. Will see what happens over the next few days (weather permitting).

It used to be that when the DIC and radio stayed on it meant that an OTA update was pending. My understanding is that OTA updates have been suspended but you didn't state what MY your car is. Perhaps they have reinstated the OTA updates for 2024 MYs.

Have you tried to erase the car/computer cache. Start the car. Shut the car off. Then open the drivers side door for 90 seconds (and you have to have it open for no less than 90 seconds). Close door, start the car and the computer cache has now been reset.

If he disconnected the battery and that doesn't work, I doubt the opening door trick will do anything. The OP needs to tell us if the battery disconnect worked - if not I'd call ONSTAR and let them do a diagnostic and finally take to a dealer if they don't have a clue.

Sounds like the car needs a cigar too!

Happened to me last night for the first time. I left the headlights on accidentally when i shut down the car. got out, dash stayed lit.
Got back in. Started it back up, toggled the lights, shut it down and the dash turned off as usual. No idea wtf that was about.

Since at least the C5s this crappola happens on occasion. Often only once or twice during the life of the car, sometimes more. Maybe you've now simply had your turn. Hope so.
