Default Pictures - Magnetic, Precision, Victory & Torch Red...Big Surprise!

After looking at all four colors together, I was very surprised at how much brighter Torch Red is compared to Victory Red.

I don't know if these photos tell the story, but take it from me, the Victory Red has a more (Rosochario) Ferarri like red and for my money is more tasteful then the Torch Red...just my opinion.

What say you???

The torch red has more yellow in it so its brighter. The victory red has more blue which tends to darken it. I like the Torch red of all the reds.

I'm curious to see how the current Magnetic Red compares to the C5 Mag Red. I've seen them both in the same showroom, and I swear the C5 is darker, but the two weren't right next to each other, so I can't confirm.

Corrvette Junkie I believe there were/are three Reds that all are close in shade to the Magred color. Correct me if I'm wrong.
Carmine Red--97-98
Magred 1 --99-early2000
Magred 11 -- 2000-present,assuming the C6 magred is the same as C5 magred.
I have seen a new Magred C6 and it sure looks like the magred on the C5's. What do you think?

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you Dave.
I ordered Victory Red sight unseen. All of the colors looked great. Had a hard time picking my color. I think if you keep a high polish and clean look, any color looks good.
If my dealer doesn't come thru like he said he would. I'll be flying into NJ

That was called Anniversary Red with Xirallic Crystal. You're right, that was darker then the Mag Red.

Torch Red. The darker reds & blue are to please the Euro's who claim they don't like the brighter colors favored by North Americans. Frankly, I think GM is worrying too much about the Euro's think or want as I doubt GM will sell enough of em' over there to justify the muted color schemes

Like Dave said that is Anniversary Red. Much darker than Mag Red. For 03 Mag Red was not offered.

but my C5 was torch red and with a couple of coats of Zaino on it I swear it 'glowed'! Strangers remarked on the paint.
