New "Welcome Call" Program from Bowling Green
Little more info on the program…
This is a new program that the folks in BG are offering. There are 3 people that are calling all new Corvette customers. Yes this is roughly 150 calls or so a day. They are very busy. This call is mainly to welcome you to the Corvette family, thank you for purchasing the car, and they are able to offer assistance on general questions.
They obtain the information from GM HQ. All information that they have is provided from GM HQ and they obtain that info from the dealers. If folks call a house and the phone is answered by a spouse, kid, or someone they may suggest calling the person on an alternate line.
They only have an outgoing line, so no calls to come in. Any service calls or calls with issues should be directed to the dealer or the Customer Assistance number 800-CHEV-USA.
The new program is not a survey, but a Welcome Call, by the Welcome dept at GM.
I hope this clarifies…
Thanks!
