Clem, you've got to be kidding! They forgot to put the homelink in your car?

Early build error, hopefully easy to correct.

unfortunately, this isn't the first I've heard of this... IN-SANE! I don't think that would be an easy one to remedy either... I guess it all depends on if the wiring is already run for it or not... They're not battery operated are they?

If it is similar to how you added the homelink visor to the C5.. its not that big of deal... simple addition...

That's cool... hopefully their dealer can get these ordered in short order. Good luck to those missing them!

It is pre-wired. I originally was going to order a 1SA package but wanted Homelink. The dealer checked and said they could just order the part and install it there since the wiring was all there. I wound up going with 1SB so I didn't have to do that, but it's a simple installation and requires no modifications to the car.

I posted a month ago that my car was also missing the Homelink transmitter. The dealer checked with Chevy and found out that this happened to several cars. I have VIN# 01338. So, they've ordered a replacement visor and the part has arrived. Now I'm just waiting to find a time to take this in to the dealer for the swap. I'm glad to read that it should be a swap out and that all the wiring is in place. This is the ONLY fault I have found with the car.

I bought a Z28 in 1997 that was delivered without the standard equipment fog lights. I had the car several days before I noticed. I guess they just run out of parts, and someone on the line just laughs about it!
