Default Wavy rear window optics

Mine is bad also. I used to work for PPG Industries glass division for 20 years and they made the old Camaro and firebird compond curvature rear glass. They only had a 20% yield because they would not have passed these windows in their QC checks. These are rejects in my book!

Don't get me wrong - this is a fantastic car, but this is the most glaring problem that should be replaced on a recall.

Yes, also did you notice the effect of the polarized glasses on the radio / temp display? just like the 70's psychedelic man!

I notice those circles on the inside of the car windows, front and rear. I wonder if they are related to handling of these items at the factory, possibly some kind of suction cup device used prior to installation...Related item, anyone figured out an easy way to clean the inside of the front windshield? I think I'm going to invent a extension tool/assembly to do just that. Get rich off it and retire before I'm 50....hmmmm

Default waves

So are the waves in the back window a defect that I should have replaced or just a fact of life that I must learn to live with..

when I was at the corvette clinic, an engineer looked at mine. Mine is not as bad as some he stated, ( I don't know what the threshold is) he stated they will replace those that are over, if that makes any sense. Take it to the dealer and find out. You might be due a new one. Good luck.

Man, I would live with almost anything before I took my car to a dealer!

I tend to agree with this. You also stand the risk of having the dealer replace the window with another one that is even worse. And don't forget that they could also mess up the installation giving you futher problems.
