This bulletin is being updated to end the need for diagnostic information and to provide field fix information.
Please discard Corporate Bulletin Number 08-08-64-001 (Section 08 — Body and Accessories).

Condition
Some customers may bring their vehicles into the dealership for a concern relating to the operation of their power windows.
Correction
Diagnose the exterior door handle switch as a possible cause for this condition. If diagnosis confirms the condition is caused by the exterior door handle
switch, replace both driver and passenger switches. Be sure to mark which switch comes from the driver and passenger doors. Parts will be requested
back through the Warranty Parts Center return process.

I'm having the same problem on my '08 convertible. It first happened about 6 months ago and this week it happens every time the passenger door is opened. It quits after about a dozen index cycles and when I put in in drive. I hope the door handle switch is the fix.
