Figures.. I paid $285 for my set of four from another vendor!! But I love them. Now I need a high mounted LED light for the 3rd brake light. How about making one of those? GC !

If you looking for an opinion Id ditch the Chrome LED brake light options as that looks like every other Ricer Euro wanna be out there!

Wow, now these LED lights look great. I may have to bite the bullet and get them. Any chance to get the tail lights in black chrome or smoked lenses?

The manufacturer only provides the lenses as shown above. We do however offer a tint treatment service. The tint service would typically be $125.00 for a set of 4 taillights, however we'll offer them with this GP at $100.00 per set. We can make them as light or dark as you prefer. You can read about our tinting process on our web site at the following link: http://www.corvette-enhancements.com/treatment.php
Thanks,
Richard

Oh snap. I knew I recognized your handle. Ok, just have to raise an extra $100 in a week. Hopefully I'll be in touch real soon.

I think I'll go ahead and buy 1/2 dozen sets for myself and do our tint treatment on them. If nobody here wants them, I'll just auction them off. The nice part about LED Blackouts is that they're typically as bright as standard red OEMs.

Here's a few pic where I tested them on my C5

I'm pretty sure I'm going to get a set for myself, but I'll probably have to wait till next week. I'm really interested in the black cherry treatment. Looks pretty sweet and different. My car is black and currently have blackouts so I'm trying to decide on black and the black cherry, assuming the black cherry is available.

Where's the 84-90 LED lights for us early C4 folks?

I feel like a victim of "light" discrimination. Seriously - do you have any plans to make, offer or sell these lights to us early C4 folks? If you do at these prices, I'm in for a set.

Goldcylon, will you post a pix of the rear of your car w/ the lights installed?... JS

BTW, I'm far from a ricer but had contemplated purchasing the clear lenses from Mid America and using red LEDs as a replacement for my stock brake lights. I think the chrome / blacked out lights are options for those who want to remove some of the red from their rides... minus the 6 red reflectors - I like the chrome lights.

You still have some time to consider what way you want to go with the tinted lights. I won't have them in stock until the 15th. Then I'd need a week to treat and fully cure before they can ship.

If you're trying to visualize the difference in the two, basically in indirect sunlight, Black & Black Cherry look the same, Black. However with direct sunlight hitting your taillights, you will then realize the Black Cherry coloration.

Thanks for your interest,
Richard

I like Chrome too which is why im running with chrome grill covers over the top of the LEDS. I just hate those Silver refelctor type rear brake lights (everbody wants to go Euro lol). But hey its your ride mod it and drive it

We don't actually manufacture any taillights. Doing so is far beyond our budget. Just to give you an idea of the cost of such an undertaking, a friend of mine did so with a C6 LED Taillight prototype. He's already $80k into the project with just a single prototype to hold in his hand. He advised that he will be into the project for $200k by the time they run the first batch.

The LED lights that I listed above are the newly released Depo Brand lights. Depo does not make LEDs for the earlier C4s. However my friends at Adjure do manufacture the round LEDs for the early models. Unfortunately they're not cheap. They retail at $469.00 per set. If there was enough interest, I could offer a GP on them as well at $329.95 shipped.

Thanks,
Richard

One last question before I order... Does the C4 LEDs work with the stock turn signal flasher or do they require another type (like the C-5s) to prevent "hyperflash" ? If they do, is it included?

Thanks for the question, I should have provided this info in the first post. The Depo brand 1991-1996 are said to be total plug & play, with no flasher mod required. In fact hear's the cut & pasted response to that question from the MFG: IT FLASHES AT THE NORMAL RATE WITH CARS OEM FLASHER They also come with a 1-year warrentee.

The Adjure 1984-1990 LEDs do in fact require an EV-12 electronic flasher upgrade that's included in their kit.

Default Here's a sweet offer ...

If you own a 1991-1996 C4 and live in So-Cal, and you have an interest in these LEDs, here's a pretty sweet offer. My shop is located on Big Bear City Airport directly across from the terminal building. If you're willing to drive your C4 up the mountain to our shop, we'll sell you a set at $200.00 installed. We just want to take a few pictures during and after the install. Ideally you could show up this coming Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday. First to respond gets this offer. We don't want to PhotoChop License Plates out of the pictures, so if you have concerns about your plates being displayed, please don't respond to this offer. Please just be sure that you actually have the time available to show up. Otherwise it will be too late for us to find another. This offer is posted in C4 General, Parts & the Regional Section.

Any takers?
Richard
