Default Who builds the best A4 tranny (4l65e) for heavy street & track use?

Hi,

I read a lot positive information about the vendors rpm transmission or flt transmission.
Since we are here in Germany the cars will be driven at the "Autobahn" with no speed limit. So they can see 200+ miles/h every sunny day .
We have 2 C5 (one with Vortec Setup, one with the old Procharger Setup, both on 6 PSI) where the trannys (bone stock A4) now after cam swap & after LG Header install are slipping on the 1-2 and 2-3 shifts so that the engine hits the rev limiter (of course it can be reprogrammed but the tranny is definitive on the limit). Engine torque is in the range of 480 ftpound at the rear, on the Dyno we meassured 710 Nm at the crank).
I´m aware af the TCC unlocking under WOT at high speeds (in fourth gear) and want avoid this via reprogramming the PCM after using a 5 disc Precision Industires converter.
Both cars will have the 3.15 gears (one needs to be installed with the tranny swap) and are able to reach a GPS top speed between 200 and 210 mls/h depending on weather & track conditions.
Both have big engine and tranny oil coolers and will get diff oil cooler soon.
And depending on traffic in Germany we have a lot of 3-4 shifts (in town at part throttle between 60-70km/h and on WOT at 240-250 km/h).
I have seen many of burnt 3-4 clutches (tranny is not overheated!) or band failure due to these excessive use and want to have it build to widestand these conditions.
What tranny builder would you choose to build these trannies reliable?
Any recommendation is welcome.
Many thanks in advance!

Marco

RPM can handle all your needs. I run 768RWHP with 756RWT using a 315 gear with no problems. I run it hard!!! Paul

RPM builds probably the best, and their customer service is second to none.

I have an FLP trans that has been trouble free for me for a few years (around 500 rwhp), but if I were to do it over again, I'd go RPM!

The FLP is race proven too, just like the RPM, but Rodney's trans' are priced better and his customer Service is Phenominal from what I hear.
Also, if you look at some of the cars that have posted up in your thread, they can take some SERIOUS Abuse!
