That seems like a slow time for what the c6 z06 shoould do to 186 mph. MotorTrend got to 174 mph in 29.3 seconds on the "Target Z06" Article. Here is a link to the video:

Seems more like 44 seconds to 186 mph....with two people in the car.

Not sure but my SC'd car does 70 to 150 mph in 7.2 seconds.

That the Z06 is behind only the much more powerful SLR 722 and Ruf RT12 to 200km/h, but last to 300 says it all really.

Yaroslav you might be interested in that RPM transmission with the shorter 5th and 6th gears.

They do custom gear ratios with a strengthened transmission, I think.

I would guesstimate the 300km/h time to be around 40sec with the right ratios.

where in the heck are you going to be racing someone to 186mph? Drag Strip? Nope, Roadcourse? Nope, Street? Nope..unless you want to go to jail or to the morgue.

The most important range would be 0-130mph I would think.

when you're driving a crazy slow car, racing to 200 Kph is fun, but in a Z06 your hitting 300 in no time.

In the "sprint" competition, I noticed the front of the Z dive and then lift. It seems to me they had a tough time shifting the tranny. (It looked like 2-3 was the culprit.) A lot of time was wasted during that shift...

I have a built Tranny from RPM with the G-force shorter 5th and 6th gears!!

Here's a closed course pull I did a while back...

It's 2 different spiced speedo shots, that start from about 25 MPH, and go to 199 MPH in about 22 seconds.

Under ideal conditions the 0-300 km/h should take 37 seconds for a stock C6 Z06.
Their 57 seconds is waaay off.

It's a misprint, the correct time is 41.8 sec to 300 km/h.
