2007 Shocks are the Same
I posed the question on the new customer feedback feature from Bowling Green. The answer:
"Thank you for using the Corvette Customer Feedback option to share your comments with us. In response to your question you have submitted about the shock absorbers, I would like to inform you they are the same for the 2007 Z06 as they were for the 2006."
I also heard from a well-known GM Corvette person that they would not change the specs on a shock without changing the part number.
Sorry, Pat07c6z, but you did get a bigger glovebox for >$5000 . . .

oh goodie - I can sleep at night again
nice work, Allan. This is the confirmation we have been needing and also proves once again - never trust magazine articles

All the extra weight added to 07s removed just enough of the "twitchiness" so that the C&D test drivers (as discriminating and skilled as they are) had all remaining doubts removed about the car's track manners.

Can you pose the question to the bowling green forum if there is a difference in the 2007 and 2006 Z06 shifters -- shorter shift pattern-- a different type of shift plate? Thanks

Maybe what it is, is that guys get out of an '06 with miles on it and worn tires, and into a new '07 with new tires. Of course the new car with new tires will ride better. I always notice a better ride when my car gets new tires... more meat.
