C6 Z06 Brakes on C5
Installation of the new Z06 brakes is complete. Me and a camera is not a very good combination but here are the results.

I did not think about trying to fit my stock 17/18 C5 rims on to see if they fit but am almost 100% positive they will not. The HRE's were sized for big brakes when I bought them and there is less than 3/8th of an inch clearance between the spokes and the caliber on the front and rear. The HRE's front and rear are flush with the upper lip of the fender.

I bought them mostly because I had to have them because I developed the significant addiction problem of mods and liked they way they look.

The mod addiction is starting to hit me hard and I don't know how long I can resist.
After your break in period it would be interesting if you could quantify the C6 C5 difference for us (ie 40%, 20%).
Thanks, 03 Silver

They sure look good on your car. Those calipers sure fills up the brake area.
