Default Engine Dress Idea DIY (pics)

I have looked at the fuel line crossover and wanted to see what could be done. My first thought is to make it match the braided line that comes into the motor, but they don't sell a split braided line to slip over it. I have looked at most of the wire conduit products and they are thin and cheap. I stumbled over a product from Taylor Vertex LINK that I liked. It a high quality split convoluted tubing and comes in 7 colors and chrome. I purchased the 1/2" ID x 41" chrome package for $10. You only need 11" to do the job so you and a few friends can use one package. It's a perfect fit and slips right over the line tucking under the fuel rails. A second benefit as it should insulate the fuel line from heat, cool fuel is a good thing. May not be for everyone but a easy DYI and the colors might look cool.

Wouldn't you be happier with one of these?

Just kidding - that looks pretty good!

Now you come up with the idea. I just ordered the chrome plenum cover from PFYC to go with all the chrome items I bought from you

Hey Pipe,

If you sell me 11" of the chrome tubing you will still have 19" left. How about it?

Looks really sharp...

You know.. you're gonna have to stop modding and take that car out and drive it sometime.
