isolated problem?
My c6 has been free of defects except for one small problem...the small speaker in the driver's door produces a distorted sound, especially with vocals.
The other speakers sound ok. Anybody else have this problem or know if it's amp-related or more likely a defective speaker? Thanks.

I would think thats all it would be. Take it to the Dealer and let him order the part first then after the part arrives make the appointment to have it replaced. The part may take awhile no sense leaving the car at the Dealer twice.

As a self-proclaimed speaker / audio nut, I'm guessing it's the speaker. If all the other ones are running fine, it's probably NOT the amp. Dealer should be able to replace it for free.

My left front speaker is intermittently not working. Switching radio stations doesn't fix it, but changing sources (FM to XM, AM or CD) will get the speaker working again. So will attemting to adjust the balance. My guess is that since the chimes and voice prompts interrupt the radio and come through the left front speaker it is a problem with the interface module that controls these interruptions. I took mine to the dealer while it was acting up and they were supposed to contact GM tech and get back to me. That was 5 days ago and I'm still waiting to hear from them.

No problems here. If it's source related, then it's not your speaker. It almost sounds like you have a loose or bad inter connection.
