FS/feeler: 1970 454 4-speed conv. NOM 500 hp.
Up for sale is my 1970 red on black corvette stingray convertible. I am listing because I drive it about once a month and have a deployment coming up at the end of this year.
Car has a rebuilt 454 with about 1000 miles on it. should have around 500 hp, havent had it on a dyno.
-Comp cams xe268 hydraulic camshaft with high pressure springs
-forged dome pistons, new crank, reconditioned rods, high volume oil pump
-781 open chamber oval port heads, rebuilt
-edelbrock pro-flo EFI system with aluminum intake and 1000cfm throttle body
-Hooker stainless long tube headers to side pipes
-4 speed close ratio manual trans
-Diff is 3.73 i believe, havent opened it up, but it runs about 65 mph at 3k rpm
-Brand new plugs/wires, and oil change
Interior is decent condition, probably 8/10. Paint is about 5 years old, probably 7.5/10 if you're picky. Top isnt the best, but it works. Car indicates 45k miles, no idea how accurate it is. no PS, AC, or PB
Car is located in San Diego. If you're looking for something original with perfect documentation, this is not for you. However, if you want a fast, reliable weekend cruiser that gets plenty of looks, it's worth checking out.
24k or best offer, keep in mind I do not 'need' to sell the car.
I'll be adding more pictures in the next few days, let me know if there's something specific people wanna see.
Thanks for looking!
