WTT/SELL: 1981 Black C3 All Original Coupe
** Updated 10/14....SOLD, SOLD, SOLD to a good home! **
I absolutely love this car but need to make room for more toys. 99% All Original (except for a custom Black paint job done back in 1990).
Extremely low original 38k miles, All Numbers Matching Motor / Transmission / Rear End, with no mechanical issues. Been a California Car for the last 30 years, original owner from Bakersfield. Original Camel Leather Interior and Power Everything ( Door Locks, Windows, Mirrors) and cold A/C.
Well maintained, has always been garaged and covered, beautiful condition inside and out.
Some small personal additions include: Code Alarm with Power Door Lock activation, Flowmaster Mufflers w/Hi-Flow Cats ( CA smog legal and approved). Pioneer CD/Stereo with Pioneer speakers in all four corners, Tinted Windows on Side and Rear Hatch.
The car looks and runs better than new.
( Updated Under Carraige pictures available on page 5 and recent Exterior / Interior / Motor pictures on Page 6 )
Only issues with car is small scratch on front hood, driver rear lower qtr panel, and rear left below light, all relatively minor but noticeable in the pictures.
Asking $ 13,000.
A great Collectors Car or Solid Foundation car for Rodding.
Thanks for looking'!!

Just a clarification- the ad says the paint is "custom show quality" but the title says its "all original." Has it been repainted, then? Is it originally black? If so, is it a different black? Thanks.

I was wondering that same thing too- so either we are both laden with twisted minds, or we think alike.......
In any event- your answer, please?
Also, what tranny do you have ?
Nice lookin car. What would be your rock bottom, double-top secret , sell it now outright price- that is, if you were to sell it?
Thanks, M.J.

Morning all, before anyone starts calling me out during the holidays and ruin what is a great end to a good year, you are correct.
Perhaps it should state "all original less a better than original show quality mirror like finish that is over 20 years old" (no cheapie just done last week miracle auto body paint job) this was done by second owner back in 1990. The car was original maroon metallic which was changed, and the car has never been wrecked or damaged. It has the original automatic tranny and gears.
The paint is beautiful and better than factory, all edges and door sills exposed and painted. The rest of the car iss 100% original, true 37,000 miles no time gaps or worn parts. Tires and brakes were replaced and all oils flushed and changed at all normal servicing points.
This car is truly a "better then new, all original ( less a very expensive paint job) car". For anoyne in the market to enjoy and have one of the best examples around this one is it.
I will apologize to any who felt mislead, was not meant to deceive anyone, paint is often refreshed and or enhanced I just overlooked that part and felt it was a benefit not a bad thing but to all purists I bow down as it does make a pretty big difference, so I am sorry.

No apologies necessary... the question was not a criticism. I just didnt understand the ad and clarification of those details are very important in assessing value. Thanks for clearing it up.

Great looking car. Been wanting to get a nice C3 for a daily driver as I finish my C2 Fuelie Coupe project, but the distance is an issue. Have any more pics? Thanks
