It appears he's better at the "caps lock" button than the dollar sign or the ellipses...

1973 coupe
factory 4 speed non power brake or power steering...just a/c...I added power windows has LT1 intake winters logo, holly 670 street avenger, new hei tach drive dist ,new tach cable ,new speedo cable numbers match orig, rebuilt 350 , 4 spd, rebuilt orig shifter, new rear bearings, trailing arms, e brakes, all calipers ,ball joints, tie rods ,front springs, master cyl , a/c comp, hoses ,vir, seat belts, new carpet and insulation , new windshield, no rust windshield frame, mainframe exellent, birdcage looks great. all lights work, headlights pop up - down like there supposed to with new bulbs.even the reverse lights work, gauges all work, clock works intermitantly, new aftermarket stereo, I put in a electric antennae I have drove car approx 4500 miles since doing this work over a year ago. rear bumpers still need to be rechromed and it does not have the exhaust tips and chrome I bumped a small generator and put a small hole in the pass side by nose when pulling into my garage , you can see in pic. I was going to have that repaired when I was going to paint it but never got it painted. I would like to get at least 13,000 for it ..but would think about an offer, I am selling as it has been like a garage orniment. I have this car and a 1971 2w/d blazer and a harley, I am single , and I just dont drive this car.
Here is a link to my photobucket with a few pics trim tag = trim 422 945 paint has been repainted in past by prev owner blue... interior is also blue. http://s186.photobucket.com /albums/x69/justaslowride/

I'm a little confused. It would appear that your picture of the engine stamping is missing a letter at the end, like it got cut off in the picture. I can see V1214CK, which as someone not terribly knowledgable about these things looks like Flint MI, December 14th and then the first two letters of the engine code. Just looking on the internet (I really need to get a decent book, there is a lot of bad data out there on the internet), I can only see one engine code for 1973 starting with CK, which is CKZ, a 350 ci 190 Hp engine with manual transmission. You also say in your photobucket page under the picture of the engine with the air cleaner removed "Holley 670 Street Avenger on top of an original LT1 Corvette Manifold", but LT1 with manual transmission would be CLR. Am I messed up here?

maby I confused you ..I did not have the orig intake or carb.. but I did have an LT1 intake manifold winters logo #3959594 and I bought the 670 street avenger carb to go on it..it is the original engine ..350 ci 190 Hp that has been rebuilt. the pic did in fact cut off the Z ..V1214CKZ
I hope this helps,
Wes

Understood. Thanks Wild Wes.

One other question: What was the original color? Do you have a picture of the trim tag?

ttt today? What happened on e-bay?

When I asked you the questions I asked, it wasn't to break your stones. I was trying to get you to clarify what you were selling hoping that would help because I think this is a cool car. I guess my non-expertise in the process was shining through on that one!

But seriously folks, this looks like it needs a fair amount of work, but something someone could work with and end up with a great car! I can't imagine that something like this with a rebuilt original motor and original drive-train (yes?) can't pull 9 grand???? Where is my brain losing the track here? Or is the market really that screwed right now?
