That's awesome. I'm impressed. Even guys like me can do body work, but rebuilding the birdcage... Even tearing the car down to the birdcage intimidates me.

How did you keep the measurements accurate? A jig? Or just one piece at a time? How many hours do you estimate you have in this project?

Every piece was separate, take out the "punct swwiz" electric weld & making holes to alien when put together, it's took about a month to finish it not include the time to take it out from the body.

Not just taking it down to the birdcage, but breaking the birdcage down in to separate pieces is astounding! Probably the most meticulous restoration of a C3 in history! And then plating besides!

I'm leaving the bird cage in and patching up the obvious rust holes and popped rivits. I don't have the courage or drive to take the birdcage out and I want to leave the nose attached.
