New Factory Z06 Wheels
#41
It's the color scheme. If they'd reversed the silver/black on the rim, they'd look 100% better (silver only in small slivers, black between the double spokes). In fact I think if they'd 2-tone'd the spokes so that the insides of the double spokes were silver--all the way to the rim--and the outside of the double spokes and everything between them including the rim was black...that would actually look pretty slick.

They look way to busy and take your focus off the car.

GM finally designs one of their best looking base wheels for the Z06 and then changes to this? Who makes these decisions? Trying to sell more carbon fiber wheels?

GM blew it big time on the new wheels. Maybe look good on a Toyota

Melting Slicks
It’s rare that (almost) everyone universally agrees on anything around here. The fact that is the case puts these wheels in a select category of failures.
*I'm not persuaded by the public. I saw these this afternoon and immediately sent it to a buddy of mine with something worded close to fugly
how did that make it out of design? Hopefully spiders are still available

Looks even worse than the zoomed in photo. Makes the Z06 look awful.
Does anyone ever have the ***** at the bash to ask these guys what the hell they were thinking? Or does everyone just ooh, awww & clap like trained seals when they pull the covers off?

Looks like the ultimate Boomer spec in this finish. Doesn't do any favors for the design or the brand perceptions they have done such a great job to change this generation.
Does anyone know if the Spider wheels are being replaced with this nonsense or will they still be available?

I don't like two tone wheels and I hate wheels with machined lips, if the wheels were all black they would probably look better.
On 2nd look, they don't look bad.
