Purchased t in 2005. It was sitting in a garage from 1971. it had had a new front clip put on it. All new chrome. All new NOS interior (these were in boxes from GM in the trunk). It did not have the original engine in it. It had been painted and then not touched until I got it. I put a new 327 400hp 327 in it. there is NO rust on this car anywhere. frame is perfect. Along with putting the interior in. also did the following:
1. All new rubber door/trunk etc. on it.
2. It didn’t have the soft top installed. I found a frame rebuilt and installed it. Did not install the fabric. I have everything needed to do this.
3. Installed new kingpins.
4. New Cooker tires.
The above was all done in 2006. Then I had the coves and hard top painted fawn beige.
current condition is:
Put disk brakes on the front. This is done.
Installed a power brake booster. Done
Installed new brake lines (not done)
Installed new wiring harness. Still needs finished. Main harness is in. needs the front and rear harnesses installed. (I have all parts needed
engine has less the 4k on it runs great.
Car drives great drove it everywhere when on the road.
I just do not have the time to finish. It is setting in my garage. Will need to be trailered.
