Lowering My C5
I would like to lower my car a bit. I am knowledgeable as to how to do it and have tried to no avail. I have also used the search function on here to try to find a thread dealing with this problem and what to do about getting those bolts to turn. My car is pretty clean with minimal grit and grime. No leaks, etc. A nice car overall. I know I have the jack in the right place as I am a pretty good wrench having owned a shop in the past. I can't get the front bolts to budge. I have yet to try the back as I feel they will be easy and want to get the front done first.
Can someone point me in the direction of what to do if the bolts just will not turn? Do you cut them off and install new ones? Is there a secret? I can see in my mind's eye where one would place the jack to take the tension off the spring. That's academic. I need some help here.

Soak overnight with Liquid Wrench
Or Trans Fluid and Acetone mix
Instead of dealing with the 8 mm hex situation that’s on the top of the bolt
just put together a double jam nut “system” to initiate the first “break away turn”
That Should get it.
Without Heat.
….Due to the Composite spring
Enjoy the Thrash
