I transferred my stingray clear cover (full clear) over to the Z06. No issues with heat on the stingray in 10,000 miles, but the Z06 does run hotter. That being said, I’ve driven it for a couple of hours in 90 degree heat several times with the top down and have not seen anything of concern yet. The aft smaller roof panel is the one that sits just above the clear plastic, so takes the brunt of thermal exposure. I would expect the first sign of trouble to affect the clear plastic vs. the roof panels. Feeling the aft panel after such a drive, it is no warmer than being parked outside in higher temps with the windows up. At this point, I still expect no issues, but will be vigilant. Both the plastic and roof panels seem to be up to the task.
